The audiobook is narrated by Melissa Fumero, and she did a great job. This novella is truly one of my favorites. It was so interesting to see the effects of the Dark War in other institutes and how lucky the Shadowhunters and Downworlders in New York were.

Over this was a really good story, and it actually added something. “Anyone who says women are weak is afraid they’re too strong.”Īnother new character we meet is Raphael, and that name alone gives me the feels 😉 He was really important to the story and I loved all that he brought. I have come to really appreciate her, she brings a lot of fun but knowing her background. Lily accompanies Alec on this mission and we get to know her a little better as well. Whenever I see his name, all the feels over the original Max’s death come rushing back, but I love that tribute. He is so cute and adorable and I can’t wait to see more of him. There were so many Malec feels, but Jace had some great moments as well! I loved reading more about Max, Magnus and Alec’s son. We follow Alec on a mission to Buenos Aires and get to see so many beloved characters. The Land I Lost – Cassandra Clare & Sarah Rees Brennan There are some spoilers for all the books leading up to Lady Midnight, so continue only if you’re all caught up. Both these stories take place during Lady Midnight and the events are mentioned there as well. We won’t get the last two stories until the physical copy of the bindup is released. Today I want to talk about story #7 and #8. Yesterday I shared my reviews of the 4th, 5th and 6th novella’s in the Ghosts of the Shadow Market anthology.
